Glenn-Egil Torgersen

Partner from Norway

Glenn-Egil Torgersen is Professor of Education at the University of South-Eastern Norway. He holds a PhD in Psychology and a master’s degree in Educational Science. He is appointed lifelong member of The Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters. Key research interests are pedagogical theory construction and practical implications for learning design, specifically aimed at professional education and supervision in the context of risk, the unforeseen and interaction. Torgersen has been responsible for several basic research projects, including the scientific anthologies Pedagogy for the Unforeseen (Fagbokforlaget, 2015) and Interaction: ‘Samhandling’ Under Risk: A Step Ahead of the Unforeseen (Cappelen Academics, 2018). He also has experience as an artist in various rock bands in Norway. He has been playing bass guitar for 50 years, with several recordings.
