Kristian Firing

Partner from Norway

Kristian Firing (PhD), currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Teacher Education at the
Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He holds a PhD in education from NTNU (Norway), where
he explored reflection and experience based learning in extreme situations. He loves to contribute to the
students learning process. He likes to bring art-based methods into the learning process, both within the
classroom and into other contexts such as the theatre. Through his coaching, he tries to practice the art of
meeting, walk through the learning process together with them and leave them with increased self-
efficacy. He is currently involved in research projects exploring coaching in crises, theatre as an arena for
leadership development and military psychology.

psychology, mindfulness, sport, and many more.
